Numb Hands Go Away

Numb Hands Go Away, Come Again another day. (to the tune of the rain song). My hands hurt so bad, I have gotten the joy of Carpel Tunell Syndrome. This is not to craxy for pregnant women to get during pregnancy. I have had it pretty easy so far so I hate to complain but it's super annoying at night while trying to sleep! I sleep on my side and my arm under my head and pillow so they are constantly trouble! I hate this part! My mom says if that is the worst thing I have been happy! So I guess I should be happy!

Our First Baby Purchase

This week we bought furniture for the baby's room.... We got a great deal on it over 300 dollars off what they were asking because I shet opped around for it and found it on sale in Oklahoma City. They did a price match and it is ready to pick up as soon as we can go get it. I asked them to hold it for a while because I wanted to paint first. I have a carpenter coming out on te 8th to cut out double doors in the closet, they are a nice size but can't really utilize all the narrow space with one door. Here is a picture of the furniture, this will later convert into a twin size bed. We bought this at Baby's 1st Fruniture on 1960. Can't wait to buy bedding next....

Happy Father's Day

Derric and I celebrated his Soon to Be Father's Day by going on a date and opening his gifts on Friday night! We went to the new Star Cinema in Conroe (by Hobby Lobby) and had dinner in a movie at the theater. We saw Pulham 123, which was an awesome movie with Denzel Washington and John Trivolta, must see! We had Burgers and Fried Cheesecake Bites and Brownie Bites (just like the State Fair) delicious!! We then went home and opened up a few gifts from the Mommy to Be and Baby Harughty! Daddy got some pretty cool things! First a camo diaper bag (no it is not a MURSE it is a diaper bag) it even has Harughty on it. I figure boy or girl I might not have a bag he wants to carry so when I am not around he should have his own manly one! Inside the diaper bag was a teddy bear from Build-A-Bear with a recording of the Baby's Heartbeat! We will treasure this forever and can go in the babys room later! The last and final gift was a camcorder! I was really nervous about picking this out with out him, but it was on our list of things to get before the baby comes (for blogging of course, hahaha) so I thought what the heck! Derric's favorite color is Red so I got him a red one that he can capture all of our sweet little family moments. We are so blessed!

Opening his sweet card!

The new camo Daddy Diaper Bag!

The Bear with the Heartbeat recorded!

Cool new Daddy Cam!

We celebrated with his Dad last week before Matt Jack left by cooking out and playing some family games! Here are a couple of Pictures from that event:

The Ultrasound Pics

I have kind of been a slacker on the ultrasound pics sorry!

This was at 9 weeks, If you look close you can see the head (at the bottom of pic), the arms (on each side) and a leg(at the top, the other one is hiding but I swear its there I've seen it) Click to enlarge.

This was at 13 weeks. If you look close I think you can see the shape of the nose, and it looks like Derric's to a tee! Not my short pudgy nose! Seriously, I can see it click to make bigger and you will agree. Black little dots in the circle are eyeballs if you needed some help getting your eyes around it!

Baby Eating Olympics, too cute!!!

Found this on youtube and fell in love with this precious family, bless this mommy and daddy!

Matt gets drafted by the White Sox!!!

Matt Jack Harughty (Derric's little brother) was drafted in the 25th round to the Chicago White Sox this week. We are so proud of his new journey as he is leaving tomorrow to play rookie ball for the White Sox in Montana with the Great Falls Voyagers! We are so happy that he has reached his dreams to play in the professional baseball league. We can't wait to watch him climb up the ladder to play one day soon in the majors! GOOOOOO MATT!

My Dad's Baptism

This past Sunday my Dad (Rick Nevitt) decided to make a public display of his faith to follow Christ. We are so proud of him and are so excited to watch him grow as he has rededicated his life! GO DAD!

Jesus took this step Himself... as he asked John to baptize him. Matthew 3:13

Rise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on his name. Acts 22:16

We celebrated the next part of the day swimming at the Lamb's Pool and made burgers and lots of munchies! It was a great day with our closest of family.

My little sweet tooth!

So ever since I laid eyes on this sweet little clutch I have been "craving" it. Not only is it made up of my very most beloved signature print, "damask" of course. It is also the colors which I love, BLACK AND WHITE! How classic and simple yet irresistible. Well, I have been one crafty little mama on my etsy website and have been saving for little indulgences like this...my new Petunia Pickle Bottom CAKE Clutch! I know you are thinking you are going to need a bigger bag than that! But.... when you are just running into Target or the Mall and you are dropping your child off somewhere this is so practical. It came with a matching diaper wipe case and coin purse, and it also has a built in changing pad. Sooooo cute!
