It's My Heart Walk

TEAM HANK

We had such a wonderful time last Saturday at the It's My Heart Walk. We raised about 1,300.00 for research and support for Congential Heart Defects. We had a super turn out to walk in Honor of Hank, here are a few pictures to share.

We are so filled with Joy to have been able to GIVE BACK!

It is our prayer that other sick babies are given the gift of LIFE just like Hank was given by amazing research, and that their families will be loved on by organizations just like It' My Heart. We can't wait to do more in the future. We are blessed beyond words.

I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS.

Mr.Smiles

Hank is grinning from ear to ear now. It is so much fun to interact with him. When I picked him up from Noni's this week he saw me and just smiled the biggest smile, he was saying "my mommy is here to get me". YEA!!! That was the best feeling in the world. I can't wait to get to see all the other firsts of his to come. He is also sticking out his tongue, putting things in his mouth, and talking to us non stop! Too darn cute, I tell ya~

He got bored of smiling for me so he decided to put the blanket in his mouth.

Then he decided his arms was a lot more tasty~

Truly Blessed

Derric and I are astonished by the love and support we have been given since Hank's birth. Last week Derric's very good friends from church softball planned a fundraiser for Hank. Our church has 5 teams and each team brought different things to make Hamburgers and all the fixings. They sold tickets at the game, and the park turned their grill off to help us out. It was a hit! Stephen one of Derric's teammates even raffled off a bat and gave us that also. We still have no idea what our total bills are but we know that we are taken care of by the King. We are hoping that we can give back to others in need if we have anything extra. We are truly blessed, here are some pictures of the event.

Our Video of Hank's Story

Derric and I both felt very strongly about sharing our story of how the Lord was working in our lives through Hank's Journey. We talked with one of the pastors of our church and he felt really strongly about plugging this into the series the Church was currently studying by Rick Warren, called Purpose Driven Life.
The first Sunday back to church they started this series and we were blown away at how perfect this study was for our lives and God's perfect plan for Hank. I love to watch the Lord put things in such perfect order for us, we felt like it couldn't have been better timing.
Check out this video that we shared with our church about Hank's story!

Roses are Pink, Your Feet Really Stink!

Happy Valentines Day

Hunk a burning love.
Hank and his Valentine Basket!
Hank got a few little things for Valentines Day...
He got 3 books, a Farm House and Puppy Dog from PB, and a Taggies Camera!

I love the book Roses are Pink, Your Feet Really Stink, a darling book!
We are also looking forward to start working with Hank on sign language.
Hank loves to listen to his mommy read to him.
all ears...
I made Hank's Paci Holder for Valentines.

I left up the two topiaries after Christmas and put hearts on them for Vday.
Hank loves to look at the lights!
We got so many sweet cards in the mail for Hank's 1st Valentines Day.

My friend Loretta started this little tradition and I copied her. I bought a little mailbox some blank cards and we watched the magic begin. Derric and I wrote sweet cards to each other and even some from Hank to each other. It was really cute to watch to see if the flag was raised with mail for one another. Aunt Jennifer, Gramms, and Taylor even got a little mail this week!
Dear Daddy-
I love you, I can't wait to grow big and play catch with you.
Love-
Hank

I made this little gift for Derric for Valentines day, it is filled with Gumballs.

Derric has always said this saying...
Our Valentine Kitchen Table

Derric brought these roses home on Sunday.

Hank and I went outside to watch Derric take down the Christmas lights! We have been so busy we literally haven't had a free weekend to do it.

Hank and I got new glasses, mine were my Valentine gift from the hubby!
Oh yes, and I am now a brunette!
Hope you all had a super weekend, please leave us comments so we know you stopped by!
